LEEDS vs WALSALL (L1 KO: 7.45pm)

Yet another mid-week game for the tiring Reds. After Saturday’s no-show at Oldham, Hutch will be trying to get his team to quickly focus their minds ahead of the tough trip to Elland Road to face Leeds.

The Yorkshire side, who have recently knocked out Premier League giants Man United in the FA cup, will be looking to make amends after their 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient.

Steve Jones will still be missing for the Saddlers, while Mark Hughes and Manny Smith push for a recall.

New signing Julian Gray, who came off the bench on Saturday to play his first 40 minutes, may be called upon, as the Saddlers look for that extra bit of quality.

PREDICTION:

I believe that this game is too much for us to get anything out of, and a point would be an excellent result. As soon as Gray is fully fit and Richards can move into the centre, then we will struggle. Also, Hughes or Smith must replace Vincent to be able to deal with the likes of Becchio and Beckford. Taking all of that into consideration, I’m going for 2-0 Leeds. Preferably I would want this to be the other way round, but that’s life and we can’t be in denial about this one!
