Walsall have today announced a small profit for the past year as the annual accounts were released by chairman Jeff Bonser.

During the year past, upto May 31st – Walsall made a £23,000 profit. This is up £13,000 from our £10,000 profit for the year 2012.

The club have made an additional £5,000 in gate reciepts compared to last year. £885,000 compared to £880,000 for 2012.

The club still owe Jeff Bonser £1,674,909 which has decreased this year from £1,732,087.

Despite the Paterson and Grigg sales not included with the current accounts it is pleasing to see our debt to Jeff Bonser has decreased and we can still be proud of having a small net profit despite many clubs struggling in today’s economy.

Jeff at the time of releasing the accounts also plauded the work of the current team and management and hopes that we can once again play in The Championship.
