Walsall head coach Michael Flynn is currently 18/1 to take over the vacant Cardiff City job – after they removed Steve Morison as manager today.

Morison departs the Bluebirds with them 18th in the Championship after ten games.

Welshman Flynn was linked to the Cardiff job in October 2021.

However recent results as Walsall manager won’t have done him many favours in making the step up to the Championship.

Favourites for the Cardiff City job include current caretaker boss Mark Hudson and Luton Town boss Nathan Jones.
