Before the reserve game with Nottingham Forest, KB told the players that first team spots were up for grabs. Afterwards he said how pleased he was with some individual performances in the 3-3 draw.

James Constable, despite his lack of league experience and some rough edges is a fans favorite. Again he showed he knows where the net is with two goals. It is thought KB was also impressed as he was taken out of the action early to prevent injury. It is not known whether this was pre planned or a reaction to the events on the pitch. Also withdrawn was Micheal Leary who produced the all action style of midfield display which was so evidently missing on saturday.

KB also had praise for the other goal scorer, Ishmal Demontagnac. The 17 year old is available for saturday having completed his two match ban. Whilst his suspect temperment has made him a target for some rough treatment from opposition defenders. It is his poor technic in tackling which has resulted in yellow cards in the main. However as KB stated he certainly gives us some thing different going forward, not just pace either. A place on the bench come saturday is possible the least he can expect.

Another player mentioned post match was Scott Fitzgerrald who played in a wider role. Which KB feels he enjoyed and that KB tried at Blackpool. So this maybe another way of adding more goalscoring potential to the team. It is a position which would possible neglect the players short commings in holding the ball up. We will have to wait and see if he would be able to beat a player and provide service to Claridge on a regular basis though.

With the possible emergence of James Constable as a striking option it poses the question whether if he plays would Paul Devlin move wide, hopeing his footballing brain makes up for what he has lost in his legs. Also with these attacking options where will the creativity and service come from, Micheal Standing may be fit to return to action but thats doubtful, and how would Mads Timm fit in to a 4-4-2. There is still a lot of questions to be answered before saturday.
