Walsall have confirmed that the attendance for tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy is a new record low of just 925.
The Saddlers are currently losing the tie 2-1, which will see them exit at Round Two of the controversial competition.
Many clubs have refused to disclose their attendances so far this season due to the embarrassing figures.
The Walsall board voted in favour of the format but later admitted they wouldn’t have voted had they known how it would have turned out.
Whilst we want the Saddlers to win every game we don’t support the trophy in this format.
