We welcome Notts County to The Banks’s Stadium as we look to win our opening 4 matches (league and cup) for the first time in our history!
Walsall boss Dean Smith ‘It will be another tough test for us against Notts County. They have some good players in their ranks and Chris Kiwomya is starting to put his stamp on things.
I watched them against Sheffield United in their opening game of the season; they’ve had some difficult fixtures so far and have suffered at the hands of suspension and injury, but I expect them to come here and be tricky opponents.
We will be looking to continue our impressive home form and hopefully we’ll have a good crowd here to cheer us on’
Notts boss Chris Kiwomya ‘”With all the players, I`m saying ‘go out there and make it difficult for me – put a show on`.
“Enoch Showunmi has done that for me, he didn`t start in the Sheffield United game and he came on and scored and he then scored against Fleetwood’

Team News To Come Soon….
Player to watch: Enoch Showunmi
Showunmi is a player with real pedigree. The Nigerian striker enjoyed his most succesful career stint at his last club Tranmere.
During that time he scored 14 goals and despite Notts County lodging three bids upto £125,000 he stayed with Tranmere until the end of last season and finally got his move to the Magpies.
Despite County’s poor start Showunmi has scored two goals this season.
Match Facts & Stats
Notts County go into this game having lost both league games so far this season.
Our record against Notts County isnt ideal, given we havent beaten them at home since 2006, but just like Oldham on Saturday – we may end our barron spell against them.
Walsall have not lost a league game since October 2012.
Iain Williamson from Berkshire is the man in the middle.
He is a referee that allows games to flow freely, he doesnt dish out many cards or penalties so our free flowing football will be on the offering!
Given our recent record against Notts County, given the ref tomorrow has seen us draw twice and my dad’s mate has bet on us (never won!) then I will be happy with a draw.
