Walsall Wednesdays

What is happening to Walsall? I cannot believe a team who dominated L2 early on in the season, with the worst being a 2-2 draw away from home. Now, we are looking at just getting a point, a similar feeling to what Saddlers fans had last season. Not good at all. Losing to Stockport last night was the third defeat in the last six games, hardly Championship winning form, or even form to survive relegation. I myself am becoming a slightly (being an understatement) concerned Walsall fan, as I feel we can gain promotion, but we are not going to win the league, especially with the way we are playing at the moment.

It`s not going to get better either. Wycombe and MK Dons are to come in March, along with a finale at Swindon in May. We need to get all the points we can to remain in the top seven, otherwise this season will become the biggest nightmare since last season. We must not throw it away now. My opinion is that DD is a good enough manager to turn it around and I believe he can sort it all out. I have questioned minor decisions, like I do with every manager, but I have faith in his ability (at the moment). However, comments that he could`ve gone to a bog club in Scandinavia will not impress Walsall fans one bit and it can be his downfall if he continues to moan. Walsall fans got Paul Merson appointed two years ago and they got him sacked. Fan power is high at the Bescot; watch out DD.
