What Needs To Happen For The Saddlers To Survive?

|

So here we go “Survival Saturday” is approaching and we look at the permutations for the Saddlers to pull off the greatest of great escapes.

The Saddlers unexpected victory against Peterborough on Saturday has set up a nervous final day with up to five clubs still with a chance of being relegated to League 2 on Saturday evening.

As we sit here this morning the table looks like this

The bottom line is Martin O’Connors men need to WIN.

A draw will not be enough (unless Southend lose 9-0 against Sunderland)

If the Saddlers were to win then we would need TWO of the following to happen

  • Southend to lose/draw at home to Sunderland
  • Plymouth to lose/draw at home to Scunthorpe
  • Wimbledon to lose away to Bradford

This morning there were less than 300 tickets remaining for Saturday game at Shrewsbury. With many expecting these tickets to sell out shortly.

There were queues outside the ticket office this morning and phones were constantly ringing – get your tickets NOW to avoid disappointment.
