Walsall manager Jon Whitney has missed out on League 1 manager of the month award for November.
The award has been given to Blackburn Rovers boss Tony Mowbray who won four out of four league games during the month.
It was quite obvious Jon Whitney wasn’t going to win the award after winning just two games during the month but its his first recognition since taking over as manager.
Many fans responded in shock and disbelief that he was nominated for the award and despite two league wins on the bounce Whitney still remains in the firing line from some supporters.
The Saddlers face Scunthorpe tomorrow knowing a victory could move us into the top ten.
