Will The Saddlers Avoid The Drop?

|

With the Easter weekend approaching this is where you start to see how things will shape up for the rest of the season.

Dean Keates has had ten days with his players and will hopefully get them more organised for our last eight games of the season in what has become too close for comfort.

We find ourselves at the bottom of the League 1 form table with just three points taken from the last five games, although the teams around us aren’t pulling up trees and we still find ourselves four points above the drop.

So as we were bored this morning we decided to go back to our good old friends at Fishy Calculator to see how the season will end up and if the Saddlers will beat the drop.

When I was sixteen I would have Walsall winning every game in the Championship and storming the league by thirty points – now we would assume our predictions are given more thought and realism.

We have eight games left to save a very sorry season and this is how we think we will do…

19. WALSALL 51 pts
20. Northampton 50 pts
—————–
21. Wimbledon 49 pts
22. MK Dons 47 pts
23. Rochdale 45 pts
24. Bury 35 pts

So there we have it, the Saddlers will avoid the drop by two points – book your B&B’s for Fleetwood (a) – this is going to the last game of the season.

Just click the link above and predict where you think the Saddlers will finish and share it on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
