The goalscorers in Walsall’s victorious 2001 playoff final at Wembley were of course our very own Darren Byfield, Don Goodman and Tony Rougier (own goal.)
Just before the game, Greg collected his special prizes as our winner.
He said: ‘Thanks for picking me out of the hat! I’m very nervous about today’s match!’
He was no doubt relieved for the Saddlers to get all three points!
