Defender Andy Butler has scooped Players Player of the Year and Fans Player of the Year at the Annual Walsall FC Awards tonight at the Banks’s stadium.

The 27 year old was the rock of the back four since his arrival at the club in November 2010 and fully deserved the accolade.

Second was veteran goalkeeper Jimmy Walker, Midfieder Matthew Richards was Third and Striker Jon Macken came in Fourth.

Darren Byfield took the Goal of the Season for his screamer against Rochdale.

Will Grigg was awarded Young Player of The Year after he has had a great campaign making 9 starts in 30 appearances, scoring 4 goals.

Sally Andrews won Fan of the season after following the team up and down the country.

New professional Connor Deards took the Apprentice of the Year after a tremendous campaign and joins the first team next season.

Special methions were kept for Jimmy Walker for reaching 500 appearances and retired electrician Colin after 25 years at the club.

A great evening was had by all and congratualations to the winners!
