Award for Ex Saddler

Karl Hawley’s goalscoring exploits at Carlisle have not gone unnoticed by the Bescot faithful. Especially since Matty Fryatts departure goals have been hard to come by at Walsall. Karl Hawley was deemed surplus to requirements when we were a Championship side. Lack of oppourtunity and to some degree a lack of height means he was never really given a chance at Bescot. However since his move to Carlisle he has shown his potential and his goals have propelled Carlisle to the verge of league one, and given Karl a chance of a future move. There was speculation that a return to the midlands was on the cards in January…..to Wolves.

The green eyed Walsall suports wish him ever success but wish he was still in a saddlers shirt.
