Barnsley CEO Linton Brown labelled Walsall a strange club during their fans focus meeting on Thursday 21st July and said we weren’t one of his favourite clubs.
Speaking live on YouTube, Brown confirmed that it was Walsall who wanted to keep the Bradshaw fee ‘undisclosed’ then confirmed that Walsall weren’t his favourite club and weren’t very forthcoming after Barnsley knocked us out of the League 1 play offs last season.
He later went onto say ‘Walsall are a strange club’
The compere for the evening reminded the CEO that he was live on YouTube to a sea of laughter from Barnsley fans.
Walsall director Dan Mole quickly hit back claiming “strange” must mean “proper” up north and said “best keep a quiet counsel”
