Chambers ‘I Feel As Fit As Ever’

Walsall skipper Adam Chambers has today said he is fitter than ever and that age is just a number.

Some fans asked questions as to whether Adam Chambers could continue to play a first team role with him approaching thirty five.

Speaking to Express and Star, Adam Chambers said “As far as I`m concerned age is just a number”

“I’ve spoken to the manager about it but I`m just dedicated to doing the best job I can for the team.

“But I`ve always made sure I`ve looked after myself.

“I still feel as fit as ever. And as long as I feel good and feel I can make a positive contribution then I will keep on playing.”

It is understood that boss Dean Smith is still looking to strengthen the central midfield role despite having Adam Chambers, Sam Mantom, Reece Flanagan and Liam Kinsella all fighting for two positions.
