Jake Jones Signs For Lincoln

It is pleasing to see that despite only being released by Walsall on Thursday, Jake Jones has already aquired a club for next season!

The talented youngster has been snapped up by the club he was on loan at last season…Lincoln City.

Lincoln knocked us out of the FA Cup last season and although their season took a nose dive after their cup run, Jones believes that this is the right move for him. Jones said ‘I firmly believe next season, Lincoln can get back towards pushing for the Football League which is where they belong really. I am really excited by the challenge.’ he added ‘I had a other offers from Conference clubs, but Lincoln are one of the biggest clubs in the Conference in terms of size and support.

Jones also spoke about his exit from Walsall but started looking forward to his new challenge ‘It was sad to leave Walsall because I had been there since I was nine, but this a new chapter.
