On current form who’s up and down

I know football isn’t an exact science and this is only for fun but

Champions Southend
Runners up Huddersfield
Play offs Oldham, Swansea, Brentford, Colchester

Relegated MK Dons Swindon Walsall and Rotherham (on goal difference from Hartlepool)

How was this worked out, just by taking the points gained from the last six games and putting this form onto the current points total.

Games in hand could only make a difference to relegation,MK Dons, Rotherham and Swindon would go down plus one from Yeovil, Bournemouth, Hartlepool, and Walsall. Since the one game is actually Walsall v Bournemouth, it could be the loser of that game……but real football has too mant twists and turns in it.
