Walsall will be looking to build on their win last week as they take on Tranmere Rovers tomorrow.

Alex Nicholls will be searching for his 3rd goal in three games as he is the surprise in-form striker of late.

Anyone will remember back in January when Saddlers were 3-1 down only to get a share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw. It was Dean Smith’s first game in charge and the atmosphere was electric as THE Andy Butler scored the last goal. It started the ball rolling towards the Great Escape and a mixture of optimism and relief rung around the Banks’s.

Tranmere currently lie in 11th place in League One. They beat Oldham Athletic 1-0 last week and come off the back of 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss in their last five games.

‘Tranmere are a much-improved side since (the last away game,) but so are we. I expect them to come straight at us from the off, so we will have to stand up and be counted, just like we did in our last game against Preston.’ Dean Smith told the official site.

Let’s see how they do! Up The Saddlers!
