Walsall face Exeter city tonight as they look to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Tranmere Rovers.

Dean Smith is running out of things to say after Saddlers are struggling to get their season going and are sitting in 17th place in League One.

Exeter City have had their own run of poor form and have suffered 3 defeats, but have won 2 in their last five games.

Ahead of the game, Dean Smith told the official site: ‘It’s fair to say that Exeter have made a slow start to the season… Paul Tisdall will have his team well-organised and intent on playing football the right way.’

Chambers faces a fitness test ahead of the game after a calf strain in the Tranmere game and Richard Taundry is searching for his place back in the starting lineup.

Score: It could go either way as both teams are unpredictable. But, as ever, we must back the Saddlers to pull through so I’m going for Saddlers 1-0 Exeter City.

We shall see!

Up The Saddlers!
