Former Walsall midfielder Omar Mussa has been given a lifeline by Leicester City Under 23’s it seems.

Mussa came to the Saddlers on an apprenticeship deal in January but was unable to force his way into Dean Keates plans before being released by new boss Darrell Clarke in the summer.

The Belgium youth international joined Walsall in from KV Mechelen but rarely featured for the Saddlers with him only coming off the substitutes bench on one occasion during our 2-1 defeat to Scunthorpe on the 12th January.

He featured in Leicester City’s Under 23 1-0 defeat to Hednesford yesterday.
