Vital Walsall player of the year award goes to Richard O’Donnell, the fans favourite picked up a staggering 81% of the votes, Sam Mantom came second and Andy Taylor finished third.
O’Donnell signed for the club last summer after being released by Chesterfield and has made the number one shirt his own following some magnificent displays, resulting in twelve clean sheets.
O’Donnell signed a new 18 month contract in January so will be here for another season atleast.
We have been blessed with some legendary keepers here at WS1 and O’Donnell is going along way to joining that list.
