The Walsall Trust have today donated £100 to Rushall Olympic to assist them in their fight to rectify damage suffered from a break in last week.

Significant damage was inflicted to Dale Lane. The Sponsors Lounge, Boardroom, Development Room, Club Shop and bar area were damaged and ransacked. A safe was broken in to with money taken, including a charity box and kids’ sweet machine money.

The clubs liveried minibus was used as a battering ram to break through two sets of club gates before being abandoned with extensive damage in the Pelsall area.

We believe that they left the club around 4.15am on Thursday 31st May.

Rushall Olympic set up a Just Giving page to raise £1,000 following a break in last week and we are delighted to say they have now surpassed that figure.

Walsall Supporters Trust posted this on Twitter earlier this evening

Rushall are still appealing for information regarding the break in so if you are aware of who is responsible then please contact West Midlands Police on 101 in the strictest confidence.

Credit to Walsall Supporters Trust and board member Alan Miles for matching the Trusts donation of £50.
