Walsall have secured the services of centreback Andrew Davies, on loan, in an attempt to boost Walsall’s poor start to the season.

Davies, from Stoke, is 25 years old and a towering 6ft 4ins in height.

He started his career for Middlesbrough, going on loan to QPR and Derby County then moved to Southampton. Stoke snapped him up at the start of the 2008-2009, where he enjoyed further loan spells at Preston and Sheffield United. He has struggled to make himself known in the Tony Pulis’s side, making just 3 appearances since signing a 4 year contract.

The team have been training every day this week, in order to get him used to the side ahead of the Exeter clash.

We will bring you more information as it comes from the club, so make sure you keep it Vital Walsall.
