Walsall boss Jon Whitney has called on his players to turn draws into wins as the Saddlers aim to kick start their inconsistent start to the season.
Speaking to Express and Star, Whitney said ‘We know we can`t keep giving cheap goals away.’
“We are working hard to turn some of these draws into wins.’
“We have hit the ground running this week. We had a double session – working on those areas we need to improve. We then reinfored that yesterday.”
The Saddlers have won just once in their last five games in all competitions and find ourselves only winning ten of thirty five games this calendar year.
We find ourselves sixteenth in League 1 and heading for our annual mid table mediocrity scrap unless we can grind out more victories.
