Walsall youngster Liam Kinsella has been called up to represent Republic Of Ireland at Under 21 level and will be part of the squad that faces Kosovo and Germany this month.

Kinsella has featured heavily for the Republic Of Ireland at Under 17 and Under 18 level and following his substitute appearance for the Under 21’s against Azerbaijan last September he has been drafted into the squad once more.

Kinsella will meet up with the squad after tomorrow nights Checkatrade Trophy game against Burton flying out to Pristina to face Kosovo before returning to Ireland to face Germany.

Liam will be hoping to follow in his fathers footsteps and one day represent Republic Of Ireland at senior level – Mark Kinsella a former Saddler made forty-eight appearances for his country scoring three goals.

Kinsella will be available for tomorrow’s game against Burton Albion in the Checkatrade Trophy but will be unavailable for Saturdays League 1 clash against Barnsley at Oakwell.

Everyone at Vital Walsall wishes Liam the best of luck whilst representing his country – thoroughly deserved!
