Three pieces of news today for the Saddlers.

First off French winger Sofiene Zaaboub has indicated he is calm and relaxed about his contract and is in fact on holilday until the start of June.

Roughly translated Zabooub states he has been ofted a year a one year contract by the Saddlers which he sees as a fallback on if nobody comes in offering better term.

Second piece is that Walsall are be linked to former Premiership striker Barry Hayles who has just been released from Leicester after his loan spell at Cheltenham where he failed to keep them in the divison.

The final news is the rumour that Clayton Ince will return to Crewe Alexander which has been picked up on by the vitalcrewealexander page.

‘Ince’s contract at Walsall is due to expire this summer and whilst he has been offered a new deal with the Saddlers that old stumbling block of the length of the contract could yet mean a return ‘home’.

Rumours have gathered pace that Ince is seen as an ideal number one for Gudjon’s new look League Two side, with some talk that Ince has paid Reaseheath Training Ground a visit recently.’
