Charlton boss Karl Robinson has today hailed Liam Roberts as one of the best keepers in League 1.
Robinson was impressed by Roberts against Oxford and was just as impressed with his performance despite the Saddlers losing 3-1 at The Valley.
Roberts has had a stop start career at the Saddlers but has made the number one jersey his own following his recent displays.
Robinson said
“The keeper is one of the best keepers in the league I think,”
“He had an unbelievable game last week against Oxford and also played very well against us.”
Roberts contact expires at the end of this season and making him sign a longer deal must be one of our priorities.
