Walsall boss Michael Flynn didn’t hold back in his post match reaction as the Saddlers lost their third game on the trot.
Flynn said one player went into the dressing room at full time and said that a lot of them don’t care and he feels that some players are giving an indication that Saturdays are getting in the way of some players lives.
Flynn said
“One player comes in after the game & says ‘you know what lads,not enough of you care”
“They’ve just been told by their own peer that their performances & their attitude showed they don’t care”
“It’s almost like a Saturday is getting in the way of some of their lives”
Its clear to see that some of these players are already on the beach and planning their summer move away from the Saddlers – many of them will not be missed.
You imagine that Flynn will not allow next season to be a repeat of this one.
When Flynn arrived he got the players working for him. Since he started threatening them publicly as a group following first defeat they have not performed. ???
