We are hearing reports this weekend that Walsall midfielder George Dobson is a wanted man with a host of Championship clubs vying for his signature.
These rumours seem to be growing on social media platforms Facebook and Twitter along with the biggest Walsall fans site Upthesaddlers.
The fee touted around by some is between £200,000 to £300,000 – which would be a pathetic amount for someone who still has two years remaining on his current deal.
Dobson joined the Saddlers on loan from West Ham in 2016 and went on to play twenty-one times for the Saddlers.
He joined Sparta Rotterdam on a permanent deal for the 2016/17 season but rejoined the Saddlers in the summer of 2018 and has gone on to play over sixty times for the Saddlers including becoming club captain last season due to the injury to club captain Adam Chambers.
Dobson has a lot more left to offer the Saddlers and you would imagine if we were to sell then we should be looking at £500,000 plus for the former West Ham man.
