Word on the tweet is back this week as we look across social media to see the reactions of Walsall fans following yesterdays draw with Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.
Lee Novak opened the scoring on fifty-four minutes following poor defending from the Saddlers but Zeli Ismail went down under a challenge from Matt Lund on sixty-four minutes and dispatched his penalty with ease as the Saddlers gained a valuable point – however it should have been all three.
Wave after wave of Saddlers attacks kept Scunthorpe’s defence on the backfoot all afternoon but the Saddlers just weren’t able to make our chances count.
We have four points from six and head into next Saturdays game with Gillingham knowing a victory will see us go into the top six – albeit early we are now starting to look up rather than down.
Here are a few selections from Saddlers fans reacting to yesterdays draw.
We are creating more chances under Dean Keates. I would be worried if we wasn’t. Great start. Onwards and upwards.

Here’s the view of a Scunthorpe fan that believed the Saddlers deserved all three points.
Well I’ll take a draw there, Walsall were the better side n missed a few sitters. Team needs time to gel but there’s promising signs, Colclough n Dales look sharp, Goode was solid n Morris looked decent centrally when he came on #UTI
