Two In One Out At Walsall?

|

Walsall boss Dean Keates has today hinted the club could make upto two new signings before the end of next week as he looks to bolster his squad.

Speaking to Express And Star Keates said

“Hopefully we will have one or two new arrivals in the next week. And then we have to make sure we pick up enough points in the games coming up.”

“Maybe there will be one going out”

So far during this window Keates has managed to bring in former England winger Matt Jarvis from Norwich and Belgian Under 19 international midfielder Omar Mussa – however Keates has frequently said he wants to add defensive reinforcements.

Keates has also confirmed that at least one player could be departing the Banks’s Stadium before the transfer window slams shut – could it be Kieron Morris following his mother’s outburst or will it be one defender in and one defender out?

We have seen a few supporters linking us with moves for Anthony Gerrard and Darren Bent – we understand that these are not happening.

Gerrard is linked with a move to link up with former Saddler Richard Money at Hartlepool.

We understand that Blackburn have decided against the permanent deal for Walsall striker Mitch Candlin and he will return to the Saddlers.
